Information about personal data

Information on the processing of personal data of the job candidates at ALTERDATA.IO sp. z o.o.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter referred to as ‘’GDPR’’, we inform that:

1. Controller and Data Protection Officer

  1. The Controller of your personal data is ALTERDATA.IO Sp. z o.o. headquartered in Warsaw at the address Domaniewska 47/10, 02-672 Warsaw, e-mail: office@alterdata.io, hereafter referred to as „Controller”.
  2. The Controller appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who can be contacted under the following e-mail address: iod@aldterdata.io. 

2. The purpose and the legal basis for processing of your personal data

  1. Your personal data will be processed in order to carry out the recruitment process on the basis of activities aimed at concluding a contract in accordance with art. 6 par. 1 (b) of the GDPR (data necessary to conclude a contract), and in the case of providing data other than necessary – based on your consent (applies to applying for a position under a civil law contract – B2B, contract of mandate).
  2. If you are applying for a position under an employment contract, your personal data, to the extent indicated in the provisions of labor law (Article 22(1) of the Labor Code), will be processed in order to carry out the current recruitment process based on the implementation of legal obligations imposed on the Administrator (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR), Other data, e.g. photo, contact details, and other information contained, for example, in the cover letter, will be processed based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which may be withdrawn at any time.

3. Retention period

  1. Your data will be stored for 30 days after the recruitment process is completed.
  2. If you agree, your data will be processed for future recruitment for a period of 1 year or less if you withdraw your consent to the processing of your data earlier.

4. Data recipients

  1. The recipients of your personal data may be entities providing IT services for the Administrator (e.g. mailbox hosting, server hosting), legal and advisory services based on relevant contracts and entities authorized to receive personal data on the basis of applicable law.

5. Personal Rights

  1. You have the following rights:
    1. to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, which will not affect the lawfulness of the processing that was carried out before the consent was withdrawn,
    2. to access the content of your data and request a copy thereof,
    3. to request rectification of your personal data,
    4. to request erasing your data,
    5. to request the restriction of the processing of your data,
    6. to object to the processing of your personal data on the grounds of the Controller’s legitimate interest.
  1. If you want to exercise your rights, please contact the Controller or the Data Protection Officer via e-mail addresses indicated in points 1 and 2 above.
  2. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law.

6. Information on the required/voluntary provision of data

  1. Providing personal data in the scope resulting from art. 22(1) of the Labor Code and the data contained in the recruitment form is necessary to participate in the recruitment process. Providing other data is voluntary.

7. Information on no profiling and data transfer outside the EEA

  1. Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision making, including profiling.
  2. Your personal data will be stored in the Monday.com system, which has its servers located in the USA. The software provider guarantees an appropriate level of data protection, and the transfer is carried out using the compliance mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, in particular through the use of standard contractual clauses.
