1. Basic information

  1. This privacy policy describes the rules of handling personal data of Users using the Website https://alterdata.io/pl/ (hereinafter referred to as „Website”).
  2. The Controller of the personal data collected via the website is:

  3. You can contact us by e-mail to the e-mail address:  office@alterdata.io, as well as by traditional mail to the address of the Controller’s registered office.
  4. Everyone who uses the website is its ‘’User”.
  5. We process your personal data in accordance with applicable law, in particular in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”.
  6. The Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who can be contacted in all matters related to the processing and protection of personal data by writing to the e-mail address: iod@alterdata.io.

2. Purposes and legal grounds for the processing of personal data collected via forms on the website.

2.1. ‘’Let’s work together’’ contact form

  1. If you write to us via the “Let’s work together” contact form, we will process your personal data in order to answer the question and deal with the matter you contact us with using the contact details you provide in the form. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our legitimate interest in responding to the User’s message and communicating with the User (Art. 6. Par. 1(f) of the GDPR).
  2. If you ask us to present a commercial offer, your personal data will be processed for this purpose pursuant to Art. 6 Par. 1 (b) of the GDPR, i.e. taking action at the request of the data subject before concluding the contract (if you are a party to the contract) or on the basis of our legitimate interest in presenting the ordered offer (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) if you represent a legal entity.
  3. Your personal data may also be processed for the purpose of pursuing claims or defence against claims and for archival purposes based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which is the investigation and defence against claims, and data archiving.

2.2. ‘’Take Part in the Future Events” Form – subscribe to the newsletter

  1. Personal data provided via the “Take part in future events” form will be processed in order to send you a newsletter with information about upcoming webinars and trainings organized by us, or events in which we participate.
  2. The legal basis for the processing of the above data is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR in connection with consent to receive ordered information) consisting in marketing and promotion of our services and activities.
  3. After withdrawing consent to receive the newsletter, we will store your personal data for archival purposes and in the event of possible determination, investigation or defence against claims related to the newsletter, as well as to ensure that the newsletter activities were conducted in accordance with the law. The legal basis for data processing is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which is the investigation and defence against claims and data archiving.

2.3. Webinar or Training Registration Form

  1. When registering for a free webinar or training organized by us, you are required to provide the following data: name and surname and e-mail address. We will process this data in order to register you for a webinar or training and enable you to participate in it.
  2. The legal basis for the processing of your data for the above purpose is the necessity of processing in order to conclude and perform a contract for the provision of electronic services (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), which organizing and conducting a webinar or training.
  3. Your personal data may also be processed for the purpose of pursuing claims or defence against claims and for archival purposes based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which is the investigation and defence against claims, and data archiving.
  4. If during registration for a webinar or training you voluntarily agree to receive information about upcoming events organized by Alterdata.io or events in which we will participate, your personal data will also be processed for this purpose on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR in connection with the consent to receive the requested information) consisting in marketing and promotion of its services and activities.

2.4. Make an Appointment Form

  1. In order to arrange a remote meeting with us, you are required to provide your name, surname and e-mail address.
  2. The basis for our processing of your data is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) consisting in arranging and conducting a meeting at the User’s request.

3. User Rights

  1.  According to the terms described in the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding the personal data that you provided via our Website:
    1. the right to access your data and request a copy thereof (Art. 15 GDPR);
    2. the right to request rectification of your personal data (Art. 16 GDPR);
    3. the right to request deletion of data (Art. 17 GDPR);
    4. the right to request restriction of data processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
    5. the right to request data transfer, i.e. to receive personal data from the Controller, in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format, to the extent that the data is processed on the basis of consent, or for the purpose of concluding and performing a contract in an automated manner (Article 20 GDPR);
    6. the right to object to the processing of personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, including for marketing purposes;
    7. the right to withdraw marketing consent – if you have agreed to receive messages about events organized by us (webinars and trainings) to the e-mail address provided by you in the form, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time.
  2. In order to exercise your rights, please send an application with your request to the e-mail address: office@alterdata.io, or to the e-mail address iod@alterdata.io.
  3. If you receive messages from us about events organized by us (webinars and trainings) to your e-mail address, you can always unsubscribe from the mailing list (unsubscribe) and thus withdraw your consent by clicking the link available at the bottom of the message.
  4. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law.

4. Data Recipients

  1. For the proper functioning of our company and the Website, it is necessary for us to use the services of external entities. We use only the services of entities that provide sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures so that the processing meets the requirements of the GDPR and protects the rights of data subjects.
  2. Users’ personal data may be transferred to the following recipients or categories of recipients: service providers supplying the Controller with IT, technical and organizational solutions, enabling the Controller to run the company’s activities, including the website and electronic services provided through it (in particular suppliers of computer software to run the Website, providers of e-mail and server hosting, and software providers for company management, sending mailings and providing technical assistance to the Controller) as well as providers of legal and advisory services providing the Administrator with appropriate support (law firm or debt collection company). .
  3. The recipients of your personal data may also be law enforcement and state authorities, if it results from applicable law.

5. Retention period

  1. Personal data processed on the basis of a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) will be processed for the duration of this interest or until an effective objection to data processing is raised.
  2. Data processed for the purposes of marketing contacts will be processed until the objection to the processing for this purpose is raised or until the consent to contact for marketing purposes is withdrawn.
  3. Data processed on the basis of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) will be processed for the duration of the contract and then for the limitation period of mutual claims.

6. Information on the required/voluntary provision of data

  1. Providing personal data is voluntary, but it may be necessary to achieve a given purpose of processing.
  2. In the forms posted on the Website, the required fields are marked with an asterisk. Entering other data into the forms is voluntary.

7. Information on no profiling and data transfer outside the EEA

  1. Users’ personal data will not be subject to automated decision making, including profiling.
  2. Users’ personal data may be transferred to third countries, in particular to the USA, due to our use of electronic services and tools provided by foreign suppliers. The providers of these services (system for sending e-mails, system for registering for webinars and training) have their servers, e.g. in the USA and your data may be stored on these servers. Data transfer is based on Standard Contractual Clauses while maintaining an appropriate level of personal data protection.
