In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter referred to as ‘’GDPR’’, we provide the following information regarding the processing of personal data in the electronical correspondence with ALTERDATA.IO sp. z o.o.

1. Basic information

  1. This cookie policy describes the rules of using cookies by the https://alterdata.io/pl/ website  (hereinafter referred to as „Website”).
  2. The Controller of the personal data collected via the website is:

  4. Everyone who uses the website is its ‘’User”.

2. What cookies are

  1. Cookie files (cookies) are small text information in the form of text files, sent by the server and saved on the side of the person visiting the Website (e.g. on the hard drive of a computer, laptop, or on the memory card of a smartphone – depending on what device the person visiting the website is using.
  2. The data is collected and stored only in an anonymous form or under a pseudonym and does not allow the Administrator to identify the User. Cookies do not harm the User’s computer and do not contain viruses.

3. What cookies do we use and what for?

The website uses the following cookie files:

  • Essential – these cookies are essential for the basic functionality of the website and the website will not function as intended without them, they do not store any personally identifiable information and are always active.
  • Functional – cookies that help perform certain functions, such as sharing website content on social media platforms, collecting feedback and other third-party functions.
  • Analytical – cookies used to understand how users interact with the site. These cookies help provide information about visitor metrics, bounce rate, traffic source, etc.
  • Performance – cookies used to understand and analyze the website’s key performance indicators, which helps to provide a better User experience for visitors.
  • Advertising – cookies used to provide users with personalized advertisements based on the pages they have visited before, and to analyze the effectiveness of the advertising campaign.
  • Third-party cookies – they help us analyze how users use the website, as well as store users’ preferences and provide them with content and advertisements that are relevant to them. These types of cookies will only be stored in your browser with your prior consent.

4. How to manage cookies

  1. After entering the Website for the first time, the User is informed about the use of cookies by the Website. In the window with information about cookies, the User has the option:
  • to consent to saving all cookies, 
  • of rejecting all cookies (except essential ones),
  • of adjusing your cookie preferences. 
  1. After the User clicks on the “Adjust” button, extensive information on the types of cookies used, purposes of use, names and durations of individual cookies appears.
  2. The User has the option of changing their consent each time by entering “Cookie settings” – a green cookie displayed at the bottom left.
  3. The User may also configure their web browser in such a way that it does not store cookies on the User’s end device.
  4. All cookies can be deleted by the User after they are saved by the Administrator, through the appropriate functions of the web browser (clearing cookies), programs designed for this purpose or using the appropriate tools available as part of the operating system used by the User.

5. Third party cookies

  • Google Ads

The Administrator uses the Google Ads advertising program operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA to conduct advertising campaigns, including remarketing.

If the User agrees to the use of advertising cookies, after entering the Website, a Google remarketing cookie file will be saved on the User’s device, which, based on the pages visited by the User, will enable the display of advertisements based on the User’s interests.

When using Google Ads, the Administrator does not collect any data that would allow the identification of the User. Any combination of data in such a way that they take on the nature of personal data can only be made on the part of Google, for which the Administrator is not responsible because Google performs these activities on the basis of an agreement concluded with the User as a user of Google services.

The Administrator, using Google Ads, defines only the groups of recipients whom his ads are to reach. It is Google that decides when and how it will present the Administrator’s advertisement to the User.

  • Google Analytics

The Administrator uses the Google Analytics tool provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The data is processed in order to create statistics, analyze how the Website is visited and to optimize the Website.

Google Analytics automatically collects information about the use of the Website. The information collected in this way is most often transferred to Google servers, which may be located around the world, and stored there.

The Administrator using Google Analytics does not collect any data that would allow the identification of the User. Therefore, the data collected as part of Google Analytics is not personal data for the Administrator.

  •  YouTube content

The Administrator may embed content from YouTube on the Website. Therefore, Google LLC cookies related to the YouTube service will be used, including DoubleClick cookies.

While the User plays a video on our Website, Google – the owner of YouTube receives information about it, even if the User does not have a profile on YouTube or is not currently logged in.

If the User is logged in to YouTube, Google will be able to directly assign the visit to our Website to the User’s profile on YouTube. The purposes and scope of data collection are described in the YouTube privacy policy and are available at the following link:

A User who does not wish that Google connects the data collected during playing of a video on our Website directly with the User’s profile on YouTube should log out or use appropriate browser extensions, e.g. blocking scripts.

 

  •  LinkedIn

The website may use LinkedIn cookies to measure the effectiveness of campaigns in social media related to the LinkedIn platform. The information collected using LinkedIn cookies does not allow for the identification of Users.

  • Meta pixel 

The Meta pixel is a short code placed on the website that allows you to measure the effectiveness of advertisements based on the analysis of actions taken by Users on the Website. The Meta pixel automatically collects information about your use of our Website and, based on the information collected about Users, allows them to display relevant advertisements.

Information collected using the Meta Pixel does not allow us to identify Users.

  • SERVER LOGS

Using the Website involves sending queries to the server where the website is stored. Each query addressed to the server is saved in the server logs.

Logs include e.g. User’s IP address, server date and time, information about the web browser and operating system used by the User. Logs are saved and stored on the server.

The data stored in the server logs is not associated with specific persons using the website and is not used by the Administrator to identify the User.

Server logs are only auxiliary material used to administer the Website, and their content is not disclosed to anyone except persons authorized to administer the server.
